Insinct Fighting Championships ..Bridgewater

Three great performances last night from the Taurus Gym fighters at Instinct Fighting Championships.
First up was Muay Thai with Sam Jennings vs Sam Egan. Who was possibly the tallest middleweight I have ever seen ! These two lads had a gruelling war. With our Sam losing a decision by a whisker ! But a fantastic fight that could have gone either way.
Second was MMA with Aaerion Orme vs Jurus Poskus. Poskus came into this bout with big support, big expectations and a big attitude....before the fight. After being dominated and taken down time and time again by Aaerion though. His respect for his opponent seemed to return. Great unanimous points win for Aaerion. Taking every round clearly and especially sweet after being shoved and disrespected at the square ups before the show
Lastly was K1 with Bryn Cooper vs 'Dangerous' Dave Kotek. Bryn really impressed with a solid breaking down of his opponent over the distance. Getting back to a much more aggressive style. Bryn landed heavy punches and low kicks throughout. Although it wasn't all one way. With Kotek living up to his nickname and coming out with some great high kicks and one particularly nice teep to Bryns face that got through. However Bryns explosive hooks, low kicks and a spectacular spinning backfist in the last round that nearly ended it saw him get the unanimous decision.
Well done guys, you did yourselves, Taurus and Plymouth proud
